For  the past 20 plus years Richard K. Abraham, Esquire has concentrated his practice, practice in Elder Law, Estate Planning and Probate. In addition, Mr Abraham is a frequent lecturer to other attorneys and the public concerning these topics. 

Mr. Abraham believes that pre-planning allows the development of strategies to protect the individual and their family, property and affairs. To effectuate this process, he uses the expertise of a team of other professionals including certified public accountants,  insurance specialists, financial planners, social workers, move coordinators and others. This ensures that the ultimate goals of quality service, education and proper planning are provided to every client. Toward that end,  Mr Abraham also is the founder of Life Planing Resources which educates the public on a variety of necessary topics encountered in the different cycles of life.   

During 2000, Mr. Abraham and Susan Affleck Bauer, Esquire  merged their then existing law firms creating  Abraham & Bauer, L. L. C.  The firm maintains presences in Baltimore and Harford Counties allowing us to assist our clientele across Maryland. Mr. Abraham currently serves as the managing member of the firm. 

Mr. Abraham is licensed to practice in the state of Maryland, before the Federal District Courts for Maryland and the Southern District of Ohio and  the United States Tax Court.

He is a member Maryland State Bar Association and its Elder Law and Estate Planning Sections; the Baltimore County Bar Association where he has chaired different committees over the years; the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA); the Geriatric Assistance Information Network (GAIN) , is the Founder of Life Planning Resources and continues to serve on the  Board of Directors of philanthropic entities across Maryland
